Waste
- At the place of the event, separate collection of waste is ensured. Tare, biodegradable waste, packaging, paper and cardboard and mixed household waste are collected separately.
- For the collection of waste by type, a corresponding pictogram is assigned to each trash can and instructions are given in two languages: Estonian and English.
- For correct behavior and decision-making, the waste collection system is also introduced to participants and organizers at meetings/meetings.
- In order to reduce packaging, products are ordered optimally and are requested to be sent unpackaged or in bulk packaging.
- Green ambassadors will be involved in the event, who have comprehensive information about waste management and will help the participants and guests collect the generated waste by type and assist with various environmental issues.
Why do we do this? Because "produce-consume-throw away" has never been a reasonable solution. Such behavior requires a large amount of material and also generates a lot of useless waste. A linear economic model is not a sustainable solution and cannot ensure the well-being of humanity and the environment. Earth's natural resources are limited, so we focus on ensuring that as much waste as possible reaches the new cycle.
